A mature mangrove finch forages within the mangrove forest at Playa Tortuga Negra. Predominantly insectivorous, mangrove finches spend a lot of time searching for food in the foliage, bark, dead wood and leaf litter of the three species of mangrove tree which make uo their current habitat.
