Galapagos green turtles (Chelonia agassizii) are extremely common around the islands. To ensure that this stays this way into the future, it is important that key nesting locations of these sea turtles are kept free of introduced species such as pigs and dogs which would otherwise eat and destroy entire clutches of eggs.
